Géographie de Jordane
- Publication type: Article from a collective work
- Collective work: Les Mondes de Jean-Benoît Puech
- Author: Lecœur (Pierre)
- Abstract: The key word in Puech’s writing is transposition, a process supported by a hyper-signifying geography. The latter condenses the data of a personal drama which, paradoxically, will get lost in invention, at the whim of the aesthetics of the detour. In fact, the “real place” with which the geographic fiction associates the writing of personal accomplishment is always carried by writing to a point of evanescence: the geographical dream does not fix desire, but rather sustains it.
