Abstract: It seems that only August Strindberg and Henrik Ibsen have come down to posterity from the nineteenth century as its theatrical glories. However, Anne Charlotte Leffler was, with them—and sometimes against them—a well-known woman of the theatre. Her complete theatrical works are published for the first time in French.
