Abstract: Written and decorated during the thirteenth century by Matthew Paris (c. 1200-1259), a chronicler monk at Saint-Alban, the Ashmole 304 manuscript principally contains divination texts. The facsimile includes a codicological introduction as well as an introduction to divinatory literature.
