- Abstract: Much like revolutionary mythologies, counter-revolutionary stories have changed over the past, few decades, losing their ideological and political significations, and allowing for unexpected citations, conservation through museum exhibitions as well as entertainment. Three illustrative examples will be referenced in this article: Le Puy du Fou in the French Vendée, the Andreas Hofer museum in Italy’s Sud Tyrol, and the carlist museum in Estella, in Spain’s Navarre region.
