Abstract: This volume introduces us to a European Apollinaire who distills, ironizes, and surpasses the culture of Europe. His oeuvre is situated within and, at the same time, beyond, cultural tradition and, in this way, becomes the symbol of the uniqueness of both contemporary and future European identity.
