• Abstract: This article looks back at Silvia Berti’s attribution of Traité des trois imposteurs to Jan Vroesen, which she has maintained for the last twenty years. The article recalls the main grounds of the attribution before considering new arguments based on a study of diverse evidence and documents concerning the publication and circulation of the famous clandestine treatise.
