- Abstract: In his monumental critical edition of the complete works of Nicolas-Antoine Boullanger, Pierre Boutin was right to call into question the attribution of a series of writings on electricity to Claude-François-Félix Boullanger de Rivery, since it was founded on fragile testimony. However, the authors of this article draw on new material found in the archives of the Bastille to show that the traditional attribution can be founded on better evidence.
