- Abstract: Pornography, prostitution and sexual tourism amount to makeshift remedies and signs of man’s irrepressible need to abolish the suffering of his separation from the world. They can also exist as erotic pleasures performed between couples with mutual understanding. Here we will use micro-psychoanalysis as a means to consider human sexuality and enrich our analysis of sexuality in Houellebecq’s novels.
