Abstract: Aragon’s Œuvre Poétique, the last edition overseen by him, is at once a “great collection” of his works, a heterogeneous group of documents which illuminate their context, and a labyrinth of commentaries. It is read here as a manner of pre-empting, and instructing, future criticism and reception.
