La chanson de cabaret à la source du lyrisme fantaisiste et du fantastique social

- Abstract: From the 1870s onwards, poets enjoyed songs as much as the rest of society. In this context, to those suspicious of the jarring gestures of the avant-garde, cabaret songs appeared as a model for lyrical communication, opposed to both the hermeticism of intellectual poetry and the vulgarity of “consumer” songs.
