Le schéma narratif victimaire dans la littérature gay allemande à la fin du xxe siècle (1970-2000)

Fictions du masculin dans les littératures occidentales
  • Author: Wieland (Klaus)
  • Abstract: Gay literature published between 1970 and 2000, notably in Germany, is dominated by a narrative scheme in which the gay individual appears as the victim, whether of homophobic society, Aids, or another gay man. This study illustrates these variations, focusing on three texts : the pioneering Die Konsequenz (The Consequence, 1975) by Alexander Ziegler ; the autobiographical account Es ist spät, ich kann nicht atmen (It’s Late, I Can’t Breathe, 1992) by Mario Wirz ; and Jupiter (1999), a novel by Thomas Jonigk.
