- Abstract: Service suicide by the Danish playwright and director Lollike (2006), Le Voyage d’Alice en Suisse by the Swiss German-speaking playwright Bärfuss (2007) and La Liberté by the Quebecois playwright Bellemare (2013) provide a sharp outlook on the delicate matter of assisted suicide. By conjuring up philosophical, ethical, religious and commercial visions in a manner that oscillates between science fiction and documentary plays, they underline how assisted suicide is a symptom for several other issues.
