  • Abstract: The choreographer Ricard Moragas’ drawings for a magic play, dating from the last third of the nineteenth century, were the starting point of a recent exhibition about history of dance in Catalonia: “Arts del Moviment. Dansa a Catalunya (1966-2012)”, Arts Santa Mònica, by Joaquim Noguero et Bàrbara Raubert. The objective of this paper is to examine the reasons for such recovery and to demonstrate how the choreographic art of the marvellous was brought to light after being forgotten for so long.
