• Abstract: “The Transhuman Body: Prostheses, Hybridity, Morphological Liberty”. This article analyze various issues concerning the relationship of transhumanist thinking to the body and to its hybridization with technological parts. Drawing on philosophical and psychological approaches, a criticism of transhumanism developed based on Anders Sandberg’s notion of “morphological freedom”. I will then discuss the diverse conditions and forms of the corporal integration of technology, focusing on the example of people suffering from the congenital absence of a limb.
