- Abstract: With L’Empreinte à Crusoé, Patrick Chamoiseau participates in writing Robinson’s myth. Nourished by the rewritings of his predecessors as well as by the original, he pursues the existential questioning, but insists equally on the pro-slavery context. By way of a cunning diegetic construction, he provides a postcolonial interpretation of this literary myth.
