Abstract: The author defends a move to establish a correlation between French and Francophone corpuses which accounts for, on the one hand, accidental historical occurrences and, on the other, the repetitions of the structural mechanisms of the French-Francophone system, in order to realise a History of French-language literatures which is necessary to allow French its global pluralisation in the future.
