Abstract: A TV series is an often complex arrangement of fragments that requires the viewer to spread attention over a long temporality. In the contemporary media sphere, a series is surrounded by various artifacts and fan appropriations whose place needs to be defined. The answer provided in this article is that narrative complexity, production, distribution logics as well as viewer’s activities combine together, creating a complex system.
