Abstract: As it suggests thinking about TV shows specificities, the article prompts to consider TV shows through its greatest specificity, developing complex time scales. To do so, one should understand the constancy in TV shows. Benveniste’s definition of chronic time enables to grasp this continuity. It allows one to offer a model unveiling the complexity of TV shows editing. This work shall put forward the potential benefits of a model based on chronic time in TV shows.
