Abstract: Contemporary globalisation is not the first of its kind in history but it is the first time that the phenomenon has attained and transformed the systems of law so profoundly–and in the course of scarcely more than 50 years. This phenomenon has renewed reflections on “juridical” humanism. Whether it concerns the contributions or challenges of globalisation, this renewal also calls for new juridical responses.
