Abstract: The De mundi caelestis terrestrisque constitutione liber, which was wrongly attributed to Bede, is a curious text. Written in a monastic environment in the eleventh or twelfth century, it contains few scriptural references, but tells us about the medieval reception of late Latin scientific and philosophical texts.
