- Abstract: This article seeks to define the literary fragment and the literary process of “fragmenting”. The latter is understood as the particular result of the narrative relation of the part (act) and the whole (plot) at the level of the plotting, and of the semantic interaction between centre and border at the level of metaphorical discourse.
