- Abstract: The “Trésors”, printed in vernacular language, were an editorial genre in the Renaissance which understood the fragment of thought as a means of providing access to the cultural window of the epoch. This contribution seeks to examine how the thought of the fragment, which the corpus of the “Trésors” made sense of, translates one of the most fertile mechanisms of cultural production in the Renaissance: selecting, assembling, and ordering writings which managed, via various routes, to be printed.
