• Abstract: As it is exploiting various narrative forms and sources, the Estoire del saint Graal aims at imposing on the Lancelot Grail cycle a narrative, diegetic et textual coherence. This cohesive logic is reflected through three embedded stories. This short stories show the wholeness the Estoire wants to give to the entire cycle. Meanwhile, they ­contribute to the expanding narrative dynamic specific to cyclic writing.
