- Abstract: As it is exploiting various narrative forms and sources, the Estoire del saint Graal aims at imposing on the Lancelot Grail cycle a narrative, diegetic et textual coherence. This cohesive logic is reflected through three embedded stories. This short stories show the wholeness the Estoire wants to give to the entire cycle. Meanwhile, they contribute to the expanding narrative dynamic specific to cyclic writing.
