- Abstract: Since the terms évidentialité (Dendale 1991) and médiatif/médiativité (Guentchéva 1994) were used for the first time to analyze linguistic expressions in French, they have been adopted by more and more French linguists, and the French expressions considered to be “marqueurs évidentiels” or “marqueurs médiatifs” have tended to part company. In this article we present a bibliography including publications in which several French linguistic expressions are explicitly considered as évidentiels or médiatives, more than twenty years after the introduction of these terms in French linguistics.
