Abstract: Drawing on philosophical analysis, historical research, and the development of medical practices, this work highlights the connections between the scientific ideas of the doctor and ideologue, Pierre Jean Georges Cabanis (1757-1808), his analysis of social relations, and his philosophy of knowledge.
