• Abstract: Le Vieillard sur le Mont Omi is a “poème typographique” whose layout is highly original in the history of visual text. However, it has been overlooked by the specialists of spatialised text, because of its elusive nature (poem/collection of poems; avant-gardes and Far Eastern influence) and its proximity with the calligraphic cycle. The matter is to distinguish and analyze the text’s modalities by a genetic and bibliographic study.
