Abstract: According to these studies, stupidity is situated between two extremes: that of the idiot and that of the spirit of seriousness. This work examines stupidity as a “phenomenon” by incorporating it into concrete problematics inspired by the thinkers who have analysed it (like Sartre, Flaubert, Proust, and Deleuze).
