- Abstract: If Roland Barthes could advocate, in the the haïku, the paradigmatic model of a writing understood as “sensual fold”, the form of an aesthetic act of stepping back, it is possible to open oneself, through some chosen references, to an understanding of literary creation reworked through silence, the hidden, the real withheld by what the writer Michel Lambert calls the light beneath the words. The paradox of literature would be the result of this evocative power of the retention rich with what is not written and of the porosity of all that gives itself through the embryonic membrane that signs the opening out of the fold.
